Who I am

This website belongs to Lavi Bachchis, a freelance content and creative professional based in London, UK. I am responsible for any personal information you share with me through this site. You can reach me at bachchis.lavi@gmail.com.

What I collect

  • If you email or phone me, I receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number and business details.
  • When the online contact form is switched on, it will collect the name, email address, business details and message you enter.
  • I do not ask for payment details on this website.

Why I use it

I only use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to manage our project. I do not sell your details or add you to a mailing list without asking first.

Who else handles it

  • Web3Forms passes contact-form messages to my email inbox (once the form is switched on). Their privacy policy is at web3forms.com/privacy.
  • Google provides my email (Google Workspace / Gmail). The fonts on this site are stored on the site itself, so your browser does not contact Google or any other font service when you visit.
  • GitHub Pages hosts this website and may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the service secure.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set any cookies and does not store anything in your browser, such as local storage. It does not use tracking, advertising or social media pixels, and it does not load content from other websites. That is why you will not see a cookie banner here: under the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), consent is only needed when a site stores or reads information on your device.

If I add privacy-friendly analytics later, it will be a cookieless tool that only counts visits, and I will name it here before it goes live.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and uses a strict content security policy, which stops the browser from loading scripts or content from anywhere other than this site. If you spot a security problem, please email bachchis.lavi@gmail.com.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to reply and follow up, and no longer than two years unless we work together. Project records are kept as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or object to how I use it. Email bachchis.lavi@gmail.com and I will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
